• So basically my question is how much would it suck if the MicroTransaction items were all timed items (ie buy a mount for a month)? Do you see TOR having this? (jimjimster)
• With games like WoW, lotro, AoC and of course many others they have a wide spread of class set ups, which in turn effects raid tatics. There are raids where it’s 100% needed to take 3 of   this class 2 of that etc… and with a large mix of classes they can create a large mix of raids, my question is with only 4 classes a faction can they come up with a raiding system that  rivals that of games already doing them pretty dam well? Do you wait it out to get a more natural untainted experience or do you tough it out so you can “be there when it happened!” (Brandeni)
• I have a question: if mounts are to be beasts in SW:TORO, and the Tauntaun to be one of these beasts, how fast will it go? bear in mind that with starwars cannon, a Tauntaun can run at 90 km/h.. how fast will people be able to run in the game, and what % increase will Tauntauns be with a person on it, and all his gear? will that speed change for a smuggler vs a trooper’s mass? • Each Character has multiple choices for there own characters voice
• Mass-Effect style radial conversation
• Each player can choose different options, no set system on how this will work with different choices

• Bounty Hunter

1. Flamethrower in melee
2. BH flamethrower worked on a counter bar (limited use?) Including npcs trying to put themselves out
3. Jet pack dive bomb ability
4. Fly up with jetpack into blaster volley
5. Rocket launcher

• Smuggler

1. Uses cover system of showing light green outlines of cover
2. Click green outline to move into cover
3. Not in cover uses dirty tactics (ball kick to face shot)

• Sith

1. Seems to use a buildup/combo system, such as a rogue might build combo points
2. Abilities, force leap (same as KOTOR), force choke, impale, force lightning (aoe stun)

• Standard MMO HUD/UI, minimap, 10 hotbar buttons, smaller menu buttons

1. CONFIRMED that the screenshot from the developer video with the game UI in it is in fact the Alphas Game UI/HUD

• Standard controls, WASD/Arrows with numbered hotbar for skills
• Solid smooth animation and combat. Deflecting blasters, smart AI, a lot going on at once that feels epic
• Combat felt KOTOR’ish with the freedom of Battlefront
• Said combat moves much faster than any other MMO
• The Sith player force choked the jedi while the BH used the flamethrower (group interaction)
• Co-op combo of force grip from sith and rocket from BH. Tons of damage and broke the force grip (read about this with flamethrower as well)

• —- Told by BioWare that all MMO elements including pvp, crafting, guilds, raiding, AH’s will all be a part of the game
• May be an MMO but they say it feels extremely single player (may not mean it as an insult, sounded complimentary)
• Console gamer struggled with the controls. Tab targetting was an issue for him as was the pace of combat

• Not a fan of the art style for characters, love the environment

—-With the huge focus on story in TOR, do you think they will utilize the phased areas like Blizzard has is WoW with Northrend? Do you think BioWare will have areas like this in TOR, and if so, how many? Will there be a lot, all over the place? Will it interfere with people who want to have their high level friends “power-level” them through the game? Or will there only be a few here and there, so it does not effect players that want to have a high level friend escort them through the low level content? (zacharywf)

This week’s TOROcast episode was huge for us, first we dabbled into the belly of TOR and took a look at the Hero Engine (the engine running the game) and we had our good friend Ryan on the show.

Corey from Showgun Gamer also made us a song, which is AWESOME!!!

We also covered a few other things, like how we will assume, player bounties would be handled, and space travel.  We also announce our gaming community, and give some details on that.
